The Coca-Cola Company Seeks Quality Assurance Technologist in Nairobi

The Coca-Cola Company, a leading multinational beverage corporation headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is currently seeking a Technologist Quality Assurance to join their team in Nairobi. This full-time position requires a Bachelor of Science in Food Science or a related field and a minimum of five years of experience in a food processing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aligning Quality Goals: The successful candidate will align quality goals and objectives with the company’s strategic priorities.
  • Quality Control Implementation: They will lead the implementation of quality control at the source and develop the quality assurance function at the plant level.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensuring that product and package quality meets legal, internal, and Coca-Cola requirements is crucial. The role also involves maintaining the quality system to meet CCBA and TCCC standards.
  • Data Analysis and Problem Solving: Reviewing and interpreting SPC data, managing quality and laboratory environments, and overseeing specialized testing are key duties. The technologist will also drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Safety and Environmental Standards: Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies and contributing to sustainable development targets are essential aspects of the role.
  • Human Resource Management: Managing and developing quality assurance controllers and technicians, including performance management, is part of the job.
