This seasoned strategist not only ensures ‘squeaky clean’ compliance in accounting and regulatory practices, but also will have experience raising capital and leading change management, both in times of growth and crisis. · Manage finance personnel and oversee continuous improvement of financial IT systems

· Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory entities, including leading annual audit and AGM

· Work with senior managers to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract/grant compliance and reporting

· Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement

· Perform ongoing risk management with a lens to both internal and external dynamics

· Evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives, including tax planning

Experience & Expertise

· Solid, 360-degree domain expertise in advanced accounting, corporate finance, capital-raising, regulatory issues, and local and cross-border tax planning

· Three or more years of experience in senior leadership roles

· Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity

· Resilient, bold ‘big picture’ thinker with cross-cultural sensitivity and a tolerance for ambiguity

· Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills

· Sound research and analytical skills, including exposure to financial modelling

· Adaptability to thrive in an innovative, rapidly evolving organization due to versatility and strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

· Personal ambition to contribute to a larger mission.
