M-KOPA Solar is seeking passionate and experienced professionals for the following senior management roles:
- Financial Systems Assurance Coordinator
- Financial and Information Systems Auditor
- Financial Systems Auditor
- Financial Systems Governance Coordinator
These roles are based in Nairobi and require candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. Ideal candidates will also hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification and have extensive experience in financial systems assurance, preferably in a multinational setting.
Job Responsibilities
The Financial Systems Assurance Coordinator will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity and accuracy of M-KOPA’s financial systems. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting regular audits, and generating detailed reports for senior management. The role also involves performing periodic revenue and expected credit loss (ECL) system validation checks.
Similarly, the Financial and Information Systems Auditor will ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, providing peace of mind to stakeholders. This role requires proficiency in analyzing complex financial data and using Alteryx for data analytics and automation.
The Financial Systems Auditor and Financial Systems Governance Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of revenue and ECL figures across the group. These roles demand a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements, as well as the ability to identify key trends and anomalies in financial data.
