Senior Engineering Manager, Search and Compliance
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience delivering results and making progress in a fast changing ambiguous environment.
- Experience with managing teams working on platforms or infrastructure development.
- Ability to articulate, influence, and drive changes across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational design skills, with the ability to mentor and coach managers and other senior leaders in the team.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and inclusion skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Search engineers with high visibility and impact.
- Define and evolve the charter of the team with a balanced portfolio of foundational investments, exploratory bets, and run the business priorities.
- Work with multiple partner stakeholders and adapt to fast changing regulatory environments.
- Plan and deliver on multi-quarter roadmaps with incremental milestones.
- Develop leaders and ensure career growth within the team, mentor, coach, and ensure inclusion and psychological safety is built into the team’s culture.
