Inkomoko, a leading organization dedicated to empowering African communities, is seeking a Senior Fundraising Relationship Manager – Regional. This full-time position, based in Nairobi, plays a crucial role in the organization’s growth and sustainability by managing relationships with key funders and overseeing reporting and communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy and People Management: Shape the future direction of the Development team, implement the 2030 strategy, and build internal capacity around narrative reporting and financial analysis. Manage a team of program managers and report writers, and streamline reporting systems using tools like Salesforce and Asana.
- Report Writing: Prepare detailed funder narrative reports, oversee financial report development, and maintain accurate program status and impact tracking.
- Relationship Management & Communications: Organize immersive visits for funders, produce newsletters and annual reports, manage social media content, and represent Inkomoko at conferences and stakeholder events.
- Internal Coordination: Ensure program delivery aligns with funder agreements, collaborate with internal teams for clear reporting, and plan impact studies with the Monitoring & Evaluation team.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in donor management and fundraising.
- Strong project management skills, particularly in budgeting and financial reporting.
- Proven success in nonprofit fundraising and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in MS-Office and G-Suite.
