What You Will Be Doing:

As the INEE Director, you will spearhead a cutting-edge initiative to enhance education access and quality for people affected by crises worldwide. You will:
- Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with INEE’s Strategic Framework.
- Oversee a dynamic Secretariat, managing up to 30 staff members including senior professionals.
- Represent INEE at global forums, advocating for education in emergencies and driving policy changes.
- Manage INEE’s fundraising activities and budget, ensuring effective resource mobilization and financial oversight.
- Foster a collaborative culture within the Secretariat, prioritizing equity and inclusive representation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- An advanced university degree (Masters or above) in education, international affairs, political science, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating leadership in international development, education in emergencies, or similar domains.
- Proven expertise in diplomacy, networking, and facilitating multi-stakeholder engagements.
- Strong knowledge of the INEE network and its initiatives, with exceptional advocacy, public speaking, and writing skills.
- Experience managing complex projects, donor relations, and cross-organizational budgeting.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French, Spanish, or Arabic is highly desirable.
