Regional Auditor position with World Vision in Nairobi, Kenya. The role involves conducting audit engagements to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting activities that improve the organization’s operations. The auditor will evaluate and enhance risk management, internal control, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit Engagements: Conduct audits within the region as assigned by the Regional Audit Manager (RAM), and provide summaries of audit findings, criteria, risks, and recommendations.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure audit activities adhere to the highest professional standards and the guidelines of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
• Support Planning: Assist in planning various phases of fieldwork during audit engagements.
• Ethical Conduct: Maintain high standards of professional and social ethics.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Internal Audit, or related fields.
• Certifications: ACCA, CPA, or CIA certifications, either completed or in the advanced stages.
• Experience: At least 2 years of audit experience, preferably in a recognized organization or NGO.
• Skills: Proven experience in Risk-Based Auditing and knowledge of audit industry practices.
• Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% of the time.
