The Grant and Contract Acquisition Specialist role at Wahana Visi Indonesia involves acquiring grant and contract funding to support the organization’s community development programs. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Grant and Contract Acquisition: Lead the development of program proposals and contract bids tailored to specific donors and opportunities.
  2. Strategy Execution: Contribute to the execution of the grant and contract acquisition plan and strategy.
  3. Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with donors and partners.
  4. Proposal Development: Prepare high-quality proposals, particularly for USAID, DFAT Australia, or EU-funded programs.
  5. Grant Management: Oversee grant management processes and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
  6. Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate knowledge sharing and learning in fundraising and project management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in Technical Development (TD), Advocacy, Humanitarian Emergency Assistance (HEA), or grant management.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
    • Strong relationship-building abilities.
    • Knowledge of proposal preparation and program management, especially for USAID, DFAT Australia, or EU-funded programs.
    • Ability to work independently.
